XWhen Luis Pérez-Mínguez agreed to exhibit in our gallery in 2010 neither we (nor he!) knew what he wanted to put on show. After some intense months in his home / studio, he allowed us to choose the works for this exhibition together with him. And we are really pleased with the choice.
We have always been fascinated by those huge piles of hay in the middle of country fields – the hay that is collected after the harvest. When making these bundles, the recently dried stalks of grass form fascinatingly tidy geometric clusters, which change at different hours of the day. They are affected by the light and the shadows and they make a integral and essential part of our landscape.
