PROPORTIONS AND RELATIONS
-
The need to reduce the complex world of Julián Gil, the immense richness of his graphic and conceptual language, requires me to focus on a small part of it, a part that will allow me to go beyond what might be obvious at first glance. My approach for understanding his world begins at the artist himself, his works and then the processes he follows. The artist: his systematic train of thought. The works: their dynamic systems. The process: the study of the series PHI, RA and PAC, which are being shown in this exhibition.
