ARCOmadrid 2025 consolidates its position as a benchmark due to the quality of art exhibited
With an exceptional selection of national and international galleries, ARCOmadrid 2025 opens a broad dialogue between innovative proposals from the global art scene. More than just a market, this encounter fosters discovery, reflection, and artistic research.
Our gallery is participating in the General Program, marking its tenth anniversary at the fair. For this special edition, we aim to revisit the project with which we made our debut in 2015: a duo project featuring Joan Hernández Pijuan (Barcelona, 1931–2005) and Giorgio Griffa (Turin, 1936).
We inaugurated the 2023–2024 season with a solo exhibition of the Catalan painter. Under the title #AbsencePresence, space and emptiness took center stage, demonstrating how Hernández Pijuan masterfully captured intangible concepts such as air, silence, and nothingness in his works. A carefully selected group of these works on paper will accompany the centerpiece of our stand: “Dionisio due.”
This piece is a second version of one of Griffa’s most emblematic creations from the 1980s, brought to light for the first time with the Italian painter’s participation in #MateriaSpirituale, our summer program in Santa María de Bujedo de Juarros, Burgos.
Additionally, we would like to celebrate this tenth anniversary with subtle references to our journey at ARCO. Our stand will include selected works by artists who have been part of our projects over the past decade, such as Simon Callery, Susana Solano, Regine Schumann, and Claude Viallat.
Organized by IFEMA MADRID, the International Contemporary Art Fair, ARCO, will hold its 44th edition from March 5 to 9.
We look forward to welcoming you at Hall 7, Booth 7A15!
